Greetings again Matthew! No hurry. That's the nice thing about these forums rather than chat or conversation. Less pressure to speak immediately and risk misstatements and some time to do research. I like that about them. If people want good dialog it helps IMO. If I have misunderstandings of what Orthodox mean by Anathema then I would like to know of course. There are several authoritative statements as to what the RCC means by it, but I haven't found a clear authoritative Orthodox statement on what it means. I'm looking for "infallable" statements of meaning of course. Not "my Priest told me ..." or "my dad told me ...". Not that Priests and dads can't give good info, but authoritative church documents are always the best resource and then more unofficial statements can be addressed afterwards (like I did with Ott and Keating). Side note - I was reading Chrysostom's commentary on Galatians and was glad to see him explicitly affirm the doctrine of sola fide in his commentary. Yours In Christ, Ron
