I hope this will be a board where people, especially students, whether seminary, Bible college, or lay person, will feel free to recommend study resources for the Christian library. This is where I wish to put both the technical and the topical. But this board is not primarily for personal Bible study helps. This is for the nuts and bolts resources required to do original study in the scriptures, books that you might usually find on a reference shelf. Include here Greek and Hebrew lexicons and grammars; Biblical background books concerning history, customs, and archaeology; introductions to Old and New Testaments; Bible dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks; concordances; systematic theologies, Biblical theologies, apologetics; commentaries; and topical books. If you wish to submit a book for which a category thread is not listed, start a new category thread. If you can't think of a category, go ahead and post your selection, and one of the moderators will develop a category thread and place your post in it. Let's pool resources. Materials such as these are continually being updated, and new resources are being publishes. I will need your help to keep this updated and helpful. God bless and keep you all, Matthew
