I have always loved the story of Peter Pan, and Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors, so seeing "Finding Neverland" was a natural choice for me. I'm not at all familiar with J.M. Barrie's life, so I don't have any idea if the movie was accurate or not. I think what I enjoyed about it the most is that while the movie told the story of a man who loves a woman other than his wife, he did not have an adulterous relationship with her. I suppose you could say the relationship was adulterous because he obviously loved this other woman, but it wasn't portrayed as a sexual relationship.
I thought it was a beautiful movie that told a story of a man who gave without expecting anything in return. The cinematography was beautiful and the story plays out like a classic opera. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a chick-flick, but it might be more a a woman's film, so men beware.

Good recommendation by all accounts. I guess I shall just have to break down and watch the film! God bless and keep you and yours, Matthew (soulfyre) PS - Better late than never. I just saw Finding Neverland, and found it a true delight. I highly recommend it.
