I would appreciate your prayers as I'm nearing graduation. It's an 18 month program so they really cram everything in. Things have been absolutely insane this term (which is part of the reason why I haven't really posted in a while) and it's only going to get worse before the end. I know it will all be worth it, but I would appreciate your prayers that I would persevere until the end. If I take any time to breathe I'm afraid that I might fall a bit too far behind. Thank you. Oh, I forgot to mention that my exit portfolio review is on the 16th. That basically determines whether I pass or not. So I've got to have all of my work in order and printed & assembled in order to present that day. If all goes well, graduation is scheduled for April 2nd.

You are in my prayers. May God strengthen and inspire you. Melinda PS - Think of your exit portfolio as the first of many deadlines to come.

Amen, Melinda. Joe, my friend and brother, Having been a perennial student and accumulated a graduate degree and technical certifications along the way, I am very familiar with the pressures of school achievement. I am also aware, like Melinda, that while these may, in fact, be the most stressful times in our lives (a sort of "starting out on the right foor" kind of thing), they are by no means an end...merely a preparation. I say this not to simply depress you, but to encourage you that when you have successfully achieved this milestone, you will often be able to draw upon the diligence and skills you have learned as a resource to meet the demands of life. It is a unique an invaluable preparation. And you have my high regard and my prayers. God bless and strengthen you, uphold you and your family, and give you joy in His provision and preparation, Matthew (soulfyre) P.S. Sorry I mistook your post originally as from mpethe, jweyman. Note I am no longer calling you "Paul" (oh, well...senility, you know)

I was able to finish all of my coursework and projects in order to graduate without a hitch. Thanks again for your prayers. Now it's just time to find a job.

Ah, yes...that ever so cold plunge into the "real" world. I will certainly pray that God will guide you into work that will allow you express that way of seeing God has given you through His Son. All that we are and do, all that we see and express, bears the mark of our priesthood, allowing us to take all that God has given us and offer it to Him in worship and praise. God bless and keep you and yours, Matthew (soulfyre)
