The Incredibles is about a family of superheroes who have gotten older and have left behind the good ol' crime-fighting days. Mr. Incredible, the main character, gets an offer to resume saving people and ends up sweeping his family into a dangerous mess of enemies. I didn't find the movie as entertaining as the Toy Story and Bug's Life movies. But, like those previous Pixar offerings, it was suitable for family viewing and was a good break from the filth that plagues our theatres constantly these days. Jedi

Thanks, jedi180! Good rec'!
I'll be looking forward to seeing the movie. It looks to be very clever, with humor that will appeal to all ages.
On another note, it makes you wonder why Eisner had such a falling out with Steve Jobs. After all, Pixar is about the only thing making other than the parks making money at Disney right now.
God bless,
Matthew (soulfyre)

I got a chance to see this movie last weekend and it is, in my opinion, the best Pixar movie to date. While some may criticize it for a few thing (children in danger, going PG instead of G) I feel it was still a quality movie and a spectacular presentation. Not to mention being visually stunning in every scene.

There goes the neighborhood. I would throw stones at brother Kenny, but alas, I find myself in a glass house. Guilty as charged...I love Monty Python too!

Just for grins:
(after slicing one of the Black Knight's arms off) King Arthur: Now stand aside, worthy advisary. Black Knight: 'Tis but a scratch. King Arthur: A scratch? Your arm's off. Black Knight: No it isn't. King Arthur: What's that, then? Black Knight: [after a pause] I've had worse.

I love when the king leads his son to the window of the castle, points at the window and says "Son, one day all of this will be yours." The son then responds, "You mean the curtains?"
