I urge anyone reading this post to read this book by Clement of Alexandria written a little before A.D. 200 ASAP. IT'S GOLD! ;D I was looking at my bookshelf and decided to read something from the early church fathers. I hadn't read from his works yet and God certainly guided me to this treasure. I recommend reading it straight through, but if you don't have time at least read Chapter I, the first parts of II, and then you're just plain robbing yourself of one of the most amazing gospel presentations ever written if you don't read Chapters V through XII. At a minimum VIII through XII, but V and VI are key preparatory chapters. I'm not an overly emotional personality, but the first half of the last chapter brought me to tears of joy over the glorious work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Fortunately it's also available online. The link is below.
