My name is Matthew Brown, and I was born in the Dark Ages (May 12, 1952...OK, we MIGHT have had gas lamps back then...it’s so hard to remember that far back).
I am, first and foremost, a Christian, which is to say that I confess Jesus as my Saviour, my Lord and Messiah. I submit my life Jesus Christ and seek to glorify in all that I do and say. I have developed this forum in my desire to serve Him, and provide a friendly place for Christians to come together to learn and encourage one another. My Christian beliefs are not kept in a “Sundays only” closet, but inform all that I am. Jesus Christ is the Living Lord of of all my life. Hence, I when I participate, I will be doing so from a Christian perspective, insofar as I am consistent in my beliefs.
I would be remiss if I did not say that I am also a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where I was privileged to study for the ministry. I was also privileged to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. Nevertheless, as with all who seek to share their faith and encourage others through writing, I must confess that I stand as a child on the shoulders of giants. May my words bring honor to those who have taught me, and glory to God. Where I err, the fault is mine alone.
If you have any questions or concerns, or wish to suggest ways to make this forum better, please contact me. And if at any time I offend you, please let me know so that I may make amends.

God bless and keep you and yours!
