Although knowledge of God (sometimes called "Theology Proper") is not the same as knowing God (even the demons "believe in God, and tremble"), yet one can scarcely know someone whom we know nothing about. To what extent can we "know God", who in so many ways is beyond our apprehension? And if God is so far beyond our apprehension, how may we experience Him as "Abba, Father" (or Daddy)? What can we say, or can we only say what God is not? Must we simply maintain a devout silence? This board addresses a topic of unceasing wonder and glory--who God is. In the wonder of God, who in His awesome infinity has condescended to become our "Daddy"... Matthew (soulfyre)
