The Christian Music artist Steve Camp has written an open letter on a recent controversy about Chevrolet sponsoring Christian "worship and evangelism" as well as charging for it: stevenjcamp.blogspot.com/2005/07/chevrolet-presents-come-together-and.htmlVery interesting open letter discussing the current state of the Christian music industry. Here are the major titles he addresses: THE CONCERNS 1. CHARGING PEOPLE MONEY TO COME AND WORSHIP THE LORD AND HEAR HIS GOSPEL 2. PARTNERING WITH UNBELIEVERS IN THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY 3. INVITING AND CONDONING SECULAR CORPORATIONS TO DO THEIR BUSINESS AND TRADE IN THE MIDST OF THE WORSHIP OF GOD 4. PURPOSELY SOLICITING FROM NON-BELIEVERS TO FINANCE THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY After this he then asks four of what he calls "foundational questions" for those participating in these activities. I hope that the Lord blesses his open letter with some eye opening. If these things are really going on, they need to be addressed ASAP in my opinion... What say you? Yours In Christ, Ron
